Where are the bars in Borovets?

The nightlife is concentrated in the centre of the resort, around the gondola station and Main street. You can walk between bars in a few minutes, which makes a night out easy — and the way back to the hotel simple.

BJ's Bar is right in the middle of it: on Main street, opposite the gondola lift and next to Hotel Samokov.

A pub feel — with a disco

Skiers from the UK and Ireland have made BJ's their meeting point for more than three decades. Expect draught beer, Guinness and Bulgarian Zagorka, cocktails and shots, and warm après ski drinks like glühwein and bombardino.

Live sport is on 4 big TVs, there are bar games, and after dark the DJ turns the bar into a disco until 4 AM.

BJ's Bar is open every day from 08:00 to 04:00 during the ski season. Happy Hour runs 24/7, prices are in euro and cards are accepted.

Barcrawl Monday

Every Monday is barcrawl night — the easiest way to meet other skiers and see the resort's bars in one evening. The rest of the week has a theme night every day: 60's, 70's and 80's nights, the Friday Après Ski Party and Saturday's The Big One.

Food with your drinks

The kitchen serves full English breakfast, burgers, pizza, pasta, salads, soups, steak and cheese fondue every day from 08:00 to 23:00, so you don't have to leave the bar to eat.
