BJ's Bar has been a fixture of Borovets nightlife since 1992. Set in the centre of the resort, opposite the gondola lift and next to Hotel Samokov, it is where many skiers stop as soon as the lifts close — boots still on. The bar is open every day from 08:00 to 04:00 during the season, with après ski on the terrace in the afternoon, a DJ every night and a different theme every day of the week: a barcrawl on Monday, 60's, 70's and 80's nights midweek, the Friday Après Ski Party and Saturday's The Big One until 4 AM. The menu covers the après ski classics — glühwein, bombardino, Irish coffee — plus cocktails, Bulgarian Zagorka beer, burgers, pizza, BBQ ribs and cheese fondue. BJ's also hosts stag and hen parties, birthdays, ski groups and company parties.
